Hebridean cruise liner undergoes refit

L4P

Hebridean Island Cruises have this week announced the return of their luxury 50-person cruise liner Hebridean Princess after a pre-season refurbishment.

The small but perfectly formed Hebridean Princess has been undergoing a winter refit in Greenock on the river Clyde ahead of its first cruise to the Lochs of Argyll at the beginning of March.

Upgrades and reclassifications

The refurbishment work has included the removal of bay grade cabins and the introduction of two new single loch grade cabins, each with their own exclusive, private facilities. Other cabin changes include the renaming and enlarging of the sound grade cabins as well as the reclassification of other cabins from double occupancy to single.

Once her spring cruise schedule is complete, the Hebridean Princess will travel to Portsmouth to join fellow All Leisure Holidays ships, Discovery and Minerva to commence her summer sailings from the port.

New destinations for 2011

New cruises for 2011 include a Grand Cruise to the North and St Kilda, An East Coast Adventure and a Grand Celtic Cruise. All three are designed to provide passengers with the opportunity to explore the beautiful British coastline and discover the charms of Northern France and Ireland.

Before the Hebridean Princess sets out for these destinations, she will be taking passengers to discover historic locations around the Argyll region with excursions to Inveraray, Crarae, the Isle of Bute and the Cumbrae Islands.
