Iberia pilots have once again walked out in two days of planned industrial action.
According to our Heathrow valet parking team, the strikes which are scheduled for today and 11th January have been responsible for the cancellation of all four daily Iberia flights between Heathrow and Madrid.
The industrial action is being carried out in protest against plans by Iberia’s owner to launch a new budget airline. This month’s strikes come hot on the heels of the first round of action called by the union SEPLA in December.
Any passengers holding tickets for flights affected by the strike action are being allowed to change their dates of travel without charge. Please contact Iberia before the end of January if you’d like to alter your flights, more information can be found at www.iberia.com.
