KLM adds fourth daily service from Leeds Bradford

Yorkshire folk planning a business or leisure trip to Amsterdam this year will now be able to choose from four daily flights between Leeds Bradford Airport and Schiphol.

The fourth daily flight between Leeds Bradford and Amsterdam is being launched by KLM on 28th March of this year, and will coincide with improved timings on the existing three flights between the two airports.

It’s hoped that the increased frequency will further cement Leeds Bradford Airport’s position as one of KLM’s UK hub airports as well as giving passengers greater scope for connecting with the 800 or so long haul flights available from Schiphol.

From 28th March 2011 the new flight schedule will look as follows:

From Leeds Bradford International Airport to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

From Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to Leeds Bradford International Airport

When asked about the new, improved service, Henri Hourcade, AIR FRANCE KLM General Manager UK & Ireland said:

“We are delighted to further improve the KLM service on such an important regional route, and hope it will be warmly welcomed by our passengers. We are very happy to provide better connectivity to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol for both leisure and business passengers, by increasing our three daily frequencies to four from next summer.”
