New champagne bar opens at Birmingham Airport

The popping of corks is soon to become a familiar sound at Birmingham Airport as brand new champagne and wine bar Blanc et Noir opens for business.

The chic new addition to Birmingham Airport’s departure lounge is part of a £120k investment programme by travel food and drink experts SSP UK, and it’s hoped that it will be an instant hit with passengers.

Exclusive yet accessible

The wine bar is designed to offer an intimate, luxurious place for passengers to savour a glass of something cold away from the hustle and bustle of the departure lounge. Although it’s aimed at anyone seeking ‘something special’ it’s likely to appeal most to couples or groups of professionals who enjoy treating themselves.

As well as a range of carefully selected Champagnes and fine wines from around the world, Blanc et Noir also serves quality coffees, teas, tasty platters of nibbles and open sandwiches.

Limited £16 offer for customers

As an introductory offer, customers can enjoy a delicious selection of king prawns, Scottish smoked salmon, rocket and watercress, buttered artisan sesame bread and 125ml glass of Albert Beerens Brut Reserve NV Champagne – all for £16.
