The end of summer is nigh..

With only days to go until the Autumnal Equinox (23rd September) the end of summer is fast approaching. Some people may rejoice over this, but many will be sad. Personally, I like to take a positive outlook into the past summers activities and look forward to what the winter brings (if the cold rain would stay away that would be great).

With the end of summer means the end of the busiest period for the travel agents, helping people get abroad, top up their tan and have a few hard earned weeks off work. But with the country coming out of the recession, people have more money to spend, so this winter could be a lot busier than the last. With the money matters in mind, it is always a good idea to try save a little cash here and there, with such ideas as;

-    Researching the best currency exchange rate
-    Purchasing summer clothes now, as a lot of stores will have them on sale. (This only applies if you are going somewhere hot this summer).
-    Research the cheap airport parking for the airport you are leaving from.

You will find that a lot of resorts will slash their prices from the summer costs as the numbers in the area will be a lot lower than the hot season.
