Bristol Airport lies eight miles the south of Bristol, located on the A38 which runs between Bristol, Bridgwater and Taunton.
From Bristol city centre
The route to Bristol Airport is very straightforward for parking customers from Bristol city centre. Simply follow signs for Bedminster and you will pick up the A38 heading south and west out of the city. Keep following the A38 and you will see the airport as you enter Lulsgate Bottom.
From Cheltenham, Gloucester and the North
Thanks to the M5, the route to Bristol Airport from the North couldn’t be easier. Simply take the M5 to junction 18 which is signposted A4 Bristol & Airport. You then take the A4 into Bristol and connect with the A38 towards Taunton. The airport is clearly signposted from the A4 onwards.
From Taunton, Bridgwater and the South
Bristol Airport is easily accessible from the South via the M5 motorway. Pick up the M5 going north and continue until you reach junction 22. At the roundabout, you’ll see a sign for the A38 which you should take. The airport is located on the A38, 11 miles further north.
From Swindon, Chippenham and the East
The quickest route to Bristol Airport from the East is via the M4. Take the M4 to junction 20 and then join the M5 heading south and west towards Bridgwater and Taunton. Exit the M5 at junction 18 which is signposted A4 Bristol & Airport and follow the A4 into Bristol city centre.
Once you enter Bristol city centre, you’ll see signs for Bedminster and the A38 which you need to take. Bristol Airport lies on the A38 itself, around eight miles south of the city.
From Bath and the South East
The journey from Bath to Bristol Airport is a short and straightforward one. Simply follow the A4 which is signposted Bristol, and then bear left on to the A4174 signposted Ring Road. You’ll shortly see signs for A38 Taunton, Bedminster and Bristol Airport.
Take the A38 and follow it until you enter Lulsgate Bottom and see the airport.
From South Wales and the West
To access Bristol Airport from South Wales and the West, take the M4 across the Severn Crossing and branch off on to the M49 at junction 22. From here you will cross the M5 briefly before exiting the motorway at junction 18 and following signs for the A4, Bristol and the airport.
Take the A4 into Bristol city centre and look out for signs for the A38. Once you connect with the A38, keep following the road south towards Taunton. Bristol Airport lies on the A38 itself, just eight miles south of the city.
