Heathrow airport lies 15 miles to the west of London. The best roads for access are the M4 and M25 motorways.

Terminals 1 & 3: Exit the M25 at J15 and follow the signs to the airport. Alternatively exit the M4 at J4 and follow the signs for the terminal you want.

Terminal 4: Exit the M25 at J14 and follow signs leading to terminal 4. If approaching via the M4 then leave at junction 4b onto the M25 and exit at J14.

Terminal 5: this terminal is on the western perimeter and has its own separate entrance. Leave the M4 at junction 4b onto the M25 south and exit at J14, and then follow the signs directing you around to terminal 5.
