Officially called Brussels-National Airport, but still commonly known as Brussels-Zaventem, Brussels’ biggest airport is only 12km North-East of the capital of the Belgian and European capital. It was built to serve the Flemish region (the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium) as well as the parts of Northern France which border Belgium.
Brussels-Zaventem is an international airport which is used by both low-cost and major airlines. Some of the airlines which operate flights from this airline include British Airways, Air Canada and Delta Air Lines; destinations on offer from this airport include: Heathrow, Montreal-Trudeau and New-York JFK.
Opened in 1923, Brussels-Zaventem is the successor to the temporary airfield that was setup at Stockel racecourse for the 1910 Universal Exhibition. Even though passenger traffic never ceased to increase, it isn’t until 1994 that the construction of a second terminal was required.
There are currently 3 car parks for Looking4Parking customers to choose from at Brussels-Zaventem Airport; all of which consist in Park & Ride services. All of these car parks are extremely secure and operate free shuttle-bus services. The most popular car park at this airport amongst our customers is the Sky Parking Park & Ride which is a short distance from the airport (the transfer only takes 5 minutes) and customers can benefit from the hand car-wash service while their vehicle is parked there.
As is the case at all the airports at which we have parking products, all the car parks on offer at Brussels-Zaventem have undergone a thorough inspection. So this means we can confirm that CCTV was present at all the car parks on offer at this airport as of our last visit.
Feel free to read the reviews we have placed on our website via Reevoo, an independent monitoring service in order to find out more about what our customers thought of the parking services at this airport.
