Mallorca is the largest of the popular Balearic Islands. Famed for it's beautiful white sandy beaches and warm weather, with an average year round temperature of 21 degrees, this island has much more to offer than what meets the eye. The island has been inhabited by humans since 7000BC and was recognised in 2011 as an area of great Physical and Cultural Significance by UNESCO. It isn't the over 300 days of sunny weather and the 80 beaches alone that attract people, the beautiful Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range welcomes thousands of cyclists and hikers each year. You can chose to stay in the lively area of Magaluf and party the night away, or opt for one of the remote mountainside private villas. With its numerous marinas and vibrant dining scene there is a reason this idyllic island has attracted the rich and famous for decades.
